Eastern Bypass Signage

The 39-km bypass starts on the Ruiru-Kiambu road and ends at the Airport North Road is almost complete with the new road signs. For ages now many motorists have blamed road accidents on the lack of road signs but still even after this new signs some still make the very same mistakes.

For those who may be new to this project/road, the Eastern Bypass was contracted to China Road and Bridge Co. Its a 39km road that is part of a 3Bypass project. More details here...

Our team got a chance to capture the signage just after installation at the Ruiru Interchange, Ruiru. Anyway before we get to see the images, one thing is for sure, that if some action is not taken the wonderful signs shall be stolen and by the scrap metal dealers.Have a look...

This signage on the other side of the interchange shows different place that the bypass cuts through. Note Mombasa Road (A104) is the last point of the bypass.
