The Standard Gauge Railway Section 7 is responsible for the production of railway sleepers and casting of railway girders. The site is very expansive and due to these factors a large amount of concrete will be required to meet the demand for production. To meet this demand, 2 concrete batching plants have been installed on the site. All manufactured by the Chinese company Sany Automobile Manufacturing Company Ltd.
The cement mixing plant is a set of equipment for mixing cement, admixture, sand, gravel and water in certain ratios the transport them to the mixing vehicle as concrete. The input is mixed carefully together with water to output concrete as required for certain tasks.
The plant is composed of aggregate storage, weighing system, delivery system, liquid supply system, pneumatic and mixing system all working in tandem controlled by a computer which is monitored by an operator at the control room.
