Section 7 is about a kilometre from Section 4 which lies to the S.E of Emali town. Residents from Emali and Sultan Hamud towns are grateful since this will bring employment opportunities for them. Section 7 has already started hiring and everyday there is a small crowd of labourers at the gate awaiting that chance to get a job.

Section 7 will have a sleeper factory, T-beam girder casting centre and  a railway deport centre. All this will be at the lower factiry area and the site will span upto 2kms. The site will be right next to the new railway path to make it easier for transportation of materials.

Since the project was launched by H.E Uhuru Kenyatta just 2 months ago, alot of activity has been taking place at the site. Most of the other sites have barely began so its a head start for Section 7. The construction of the factory is what willl take the most time according to the management who estimate that they will be done by mid January 2015
