With April now behind us, alot has happened this month so here are the best shots that show what has been happening here at Section 7 in Emali.
Taps and valves that are used to pump slurry concrete into the T-Beam Girders at the site. The concrete is pumped at a very high pressure inside the T-Beam
This large structure arrived this month and shall be used to measure the strength of the T-Beam Girders. The test is done every 6 months to ensure that all the beams will withstand the weight of trains.
Inner Line 3 - This line is almost complete and all is left is to do some minor alignment. It is going to be used to transfer sleepers from the factory to the assembly yard.
The storage area for the T-Beam Girders is becoming full by the day. By the close of this April, the contractor has produced 70+ Girders
The Sleeper Rotating machine is the newest machine to arrive at the site. This electrically powered hydraulic machine is used to arrange sleepers and overturn them ready for the insertion of the steel bolts.
Railway-Sleeper set ready for installation. This assembly contains 44 sleepers and 2 rail bars which are going to be installed as a single unit.
