The Nyahururu 23MVA 132/33kV Substation - Kenya Power Transmission Project LOT3A

The Nyahururu 132/33kV substation is part of the Kenya Power Transmission Project LOT3A. This substation is complete as construction of the line continues. A 79km 132kV line will be connected from Nanyuki to here.

The Nyahururu 132/33kV substation, completed in 31st December 2015 also know as LOT3 involves the Narok, Bomet, Karbanet and Nyahururu switching stations and 132kV line bay extensions (Olkaria and Nanyuki).

The project also incolved the construction of 4 new 132/33kV Substations at Kabarnet, Nyahururu, Narok and Bomet and four 132kV Outgoing bays at Lessos, Nanyuki, Olkaria, Sotik and Nanyuki.
